Fun-Raising Night

Blue Monday is back again!
People getting together to support one another. Taking part in fun games, activities and challenges that celebrate everyday life and positive mental health. It’s also about celebrating the magic of everyday life and “normal”. With everyone on lockdown after lockdown, and forced to stay away from one another, the need to meet and party somehow has never been greater!
We think it’s really important to champion good mental health and wellbeing and spend quality time together. Our Blue Monday night is designed for us all to be pro-active make the most of the five ways of well-being (as here on the Mind website). Giving people the chance:
  • to connect
  • be active
  • take notice
  • learn
  • give

Blue Monday does all of these by the bucket load!

Play Together

In the past, we have rented roller skating rinks and had physical face-to-face challenges. This year we want to make the most of being at home – and to use all the resources and advantages. Different people are working together to organise this night, bringing energy.

Blue Monday is a community effort, organised by the makers of the summer’s Homemade Parade (an online extravaganza of homemade art and celebration to mark the Barnaby Parade).
IDST! are a crew of local techies, artists and experimenters – our watch words are: Playful, Purposeful and People-Powered – and Blue Monday is our chance to check-in with one another and make something special, even in mid-winter, even in lockdown!
